Programming for ML with no experience — if you can type, you can begin
Sooner or later, usually sooner, a program stops and prints an error message in place of the output you wanted. Beginners read this as failure. It is not. An error message is a note from a very patient librarian: "I stopped at this shelf, on this line, because of this specific problem." Nothing is broken, nothing is lost. The machine is telling you exactly where it got confused, which is more help than most problems in life ever offer.
